Our dedicated staff

Tracy
Tracy completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Speech Pathology) degree at Latrobe University in 1997 and works as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. After extensive experience assessing, treating and consulting in schools across South Gippsland and Bass Coast Shires, Tracy moved into private practice in 2000. As the owner and director of Central Gippsland Speech Pathology, Tracy continues to treat a full clinical caseload and also runs regular training and consultancy services across Gippsland schools. Tracy is incredibly proud of the team at CGSP and is committed to supporting their amazing work within our local community. Clinically, Tracy has special interests in the areas of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, social communication, literacy and orofacial myology. Having grown up in Gippsland, Tracy loves to play in the local brass band, and enjoys fishing, camping, walking, entertaining and travelling.

Rhonda
Rhonda completed a Certificate III in Business Administration and worked locally before joining CGSP as a receptionist in 2003 and later moving into our Office Manager role. As a valued and organised team member, Rhonda manages client services and helps to oversee the daily operations of the practice. Rhonda and her husband have three amazing adult children and a growing tribe of beautiful grandkids. In her spare time, Rhonda loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Karen
Karen joined our team in December 2019 and manages our reception and client services area. Karen previously worked for almost 20 years in various roles in the newspaper industry, and along with her husband has raised four beautiful children. Karen has twin grandsons whom she loves to spend time with, and she also enjoys spending quality time with her extended family. At the clinic, Karen is affectionately known as the Shopping Queen!!

Laura
Laura holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Speech and Language Therapy and works as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist at CGSP. She has gained experience through clinical placements and various workplaces, including school-based, community-based, and hospital environments. This experience has equipped her with the skills to effectively support a wide range of clients. Laura has particular interests in speech sound development, social skills, and language and literacy development. Her passion for these areas drives her to deliver high-quality, personalised therapy to each of her clients. Laura is a valued team member who is always flexible and super organised!

Courtney
Courtney completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology degree at Latrobe University in 2019 and works as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. Courtney has been at CGSP since her graduate year and has special clinical interests in early childhood intervention, literacy and social communication. Outside of speech pathology, Courtney enjoys competing horses, cooking, farm activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Jessica
Jess completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at ACU in 2016 and works as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. Jess spent her graduate years working in primary and secondary schools across the South Gippsland and Bass Coast Shires, before joining the CGSP team in 2021. Clinically, Jess has a particular interest in working with early childhood speech and language. In her spare time, Jess enjoys spending time with her family and baking anything sweet!

Tamara
Tamara completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Latrobe University in 2009 and then her Masters of Clinical Audiology at Melbourne University in 2011. Tamara joined the CGSP team in 2012, and currently works as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She also works locally as an Audiologist. Tamara has special interests in AAC, hearing, language development, and the relationship between speech and hearing. Outside of work, Tamara plays tennis and enjoys quilting and resin/fluid art, home renovations, and playing with her naughty guinea pigs.

Elisha
Elisha graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology, and she currently works with CGSP as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. When not in the clinic, Elisha is out visiting local mainstream schools, working with students to achieve their speech, language and social communication goals. Elisha’s areas of interest include working with primary-aged students on their language and literacy skills, which is especially rewarding given that Elisha grew up in the local area. Outside of work, Elisha enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and playing with her golden retriever, Charlie.

Nicole
Nicole is a married mum of six, with two grown boys and four foster girls. She worked in a school for 15 years within various roles, and recently finished up to pursue other interests. Nicole has many years of experience running language intervention groups for primary-aged students and has worked alongside our CGSP staff for many years. Nicole is a pencil artist who loves to draw realistic animals. She also loves colour and you’ll often find her with bright pink or purple hair, wearing a pair of funky boots from her huge collection! Nicole is a people person who loves summer, her animals, and a good coffee.

Bryanna
Bryanna completed her Education Support Certificate IV course in 2009. After completing her studies, she gained employment as an Education Support Officer (ESO) at a local secondary school and then various primary schools within Traralgon. Whilst working as an ESO, Bryanna started working alongside children with literacy difficulties. This ignited a passion for further study and employment in this area. Bryanna started working with CGSP in October 2023 and capably runs our AHA Literacy Program. She builds strong relationships with her clients and loves seeing clients progress in their literacy development. In her spare time, Bryanna enjoys going for long runs with her dog, hiking, and spending time with family.

Tarai
Tarai is our newest staff member within the CGSP family. She works as an Allied Health Assistant and runs our Articulation Program. Tarai has had many years of experience in this role, working at a local primary school alongside our senior clinician. Tarai loves working with clients, helping them to reach their own personal articulation goals and seeing their growth in confidence as they learn to communicate more successfully. In her spare time, Tarai likes to spend time with her family, going camping, fishing and exploring the high country.

Alana
Alana completed her Allied Health Assistant Certificate II course in 2023. After completing her placement, she found her passion in the world of speech pathology. Alana is committed to ensuring that all children reach their potential, and loves honing her skills with the guidance of our CGSP team. Alana loves interacting with the children and watching their faces light up when they achieve their goals. She is an extremely bubbly, motivated and positive team member who keeps our older staff members up-to-date with all the current lingo and fads! In her spare time, Alana loves spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and playing with her dogs.

Sandy
Sandy has worked in medical administration for over 30 years and has been a part-time member of the CGSP administration team since 2020. Sandy efficiently manages our huge archive program, and also works within our wonderful reception team. She lives locally with her human family and two cats (yes, she is a quirky cat lady). Sandy loves to cruise (despite the sea sickness) and enjoys attending live theatre and music performances.
